Back on topic again...
I had a similar problem years back at the turn of the millenium.
the symptoms were identical. It turned out to be the needle roller bearing, sometimes known as nose bearing in the middle of the flywheel. It had broken up and the needles were making the input shaft drag so the clutch couldn't disengage fully.
It might be something as simple ...but it still means a gearbox out to check.
Or, as the backstreet mechanic said ...give it time the needles will smash up and fall out and it'll be fine again!
