here goes it wont start, have inputted the eka code in drivers door , everything lighting up ect just wont turn over .
new battery fitted 4 weeks ago . help please it seems like the engine immobiliser is stuck on ? maybe

Not sure if the diesel cranks or not if the immobiliser is active but you should get the message engine immobilised on the dash, it certainly cranks if there is loss of sync. Have you checked the cable from the battery to the starter motor?

sorry forgot to say its a manuel

Check the starter relay, check fuse box for signs/smells of burning. Do the dash lights dim when you try to crank? The cable to the starter motor has been known to corrode away inside the plastic sleeving.
What voltage do you have at the battery?

hi datatek , just been on phone with mozz , he says to contact you , we reckon it now is starter problem

Have you got a meter? If you have, put it on volts and check the voltage on the big cable at the starter motor, it should be the same as at the battery. Get someone to turn the key and see if the voltage drops. If it does not, put the meter on the small wire on the starter solenoid, when the key is turned you should have 12 volts. If you do, the solenoid has failed, you could try tapping it with a hammer while the key is turned. If there is no 12 volts then you have a relay/fuse box or some such problem.
If you have no 12 volts on the big cable, the cable has failed.
If you have 12 volts on the big cable and the voltage drops when the key is turned the starter is jammed.
