Help please :windows not setting

Hi all
hope one of you out there can help me have a 97 4.6 H.S.E. i am having a nightmare trying to set the drivers side front and rear windows they just will not set have tryed new bcm been on rovercom it says that there are no problems the system is talking to each other still no joy

please help if you can any ideas appreciated

I guess you have read the proper procedure for how to set them in the manual?? Fully open and then close them in one go. If that still doesnt sort it, have you tried new window motors (cant think of the proper name for them at the moment)??

Thanks for your reply had a mechanic check the motors (tryed new ones) he also tryed a new arm for the glass still no joy ????

Try This.
1. Open Window All Way Down From Fully Closed.
When Fully Open Keep The Window Button Pressed In For A Couple Of Seconds, Then Close Window.

It Worked On My 98 Dse When I Had Same Problem

Hiya matey...I had the same problem!

I started the reset proceedure beginning with the opening fully then tilting of the sunroof...then all windows starting back to front.

Did the job!

are the regulators slipping? if so, they will never set.

ive also had outstations pack up

try disconnecting the battery for a couple of mins then set all the windows and sunroof, sometimes works
