I put old MAF back on this morning. Starts sooooo much better! Much less erratic and settles down quicker. Still lacking in V8 power and am pulling the horsebox on Wed evening up hills!!!!!

seriously though it is good to have somone who knows what they are doing as these other places cost a fortune and then just say its as good as its going to get sorry- I hate that!

Stu checked my new Stepper motor - faulty - old one workin fine (so much for Scotlands leading Land Rover specialist who sold me it.... never did simple check on mine like Stu did...) Tested my MAF. Not working. Set OHM's to correct so new one works. Reset base settings. Found leak in plenum chamber. Got car running as best as under circumstances and is coming back next Sat (cant wait) to fix her properly and get her all running properly again....

Will let you know how it all goes....(Oh and got told by same LR specialist mentioned above that, and I quote, "So your cars f*****d then, serves you right for running it on gas" - Guess who I WONT be using in future!
