Hi, I have had my freelander 2 now for 5 years and it's now developed what feels like spluttering and loss of power at times and also were the temperature gauge as always been half way it has now dropped down to about a quarter of the way, anyone have any ideas what the problem is please. Thank you

if your engine is not up to temperature then it will not run right you may need a new thermostat

I'd start at the thermostat too!
