Seem to have a little problem....

Just been checking the oil water ect as you do!!

Noticed just under the turbo the hose going to the intercooler, the "U" shape hose feels all soft and can be squeezed together easy...
I guess thats not right... :(

First question anyone know the name of the said hose?? so i dont sound like a complete numpty when ordering one... :D

Secondly can you buy just the hose? because all i can find is silicone replacements at 50 odd quid....

Cheers in advance...

If you just want a single, standard hose then just order one from a LR parts supplier. Not knowing what engine you have I can't help with a part number but a few minutes looking at an on-line LR parts list will come up with the item you require and cost a lot less than a set of silicon hoses.

The pipes on the outlet side of turbo are quite soft, they are under pressure, unlike the inlet ones whitch are stiff to resist vacume.

When I took it off there like a blister inside almost like a bubble?? On the outside it's all soft, if this is under pressure surly it would fold inwards restricting the air flow?? Like I say I'm a novice so Iat be wrong!!!

Iirc the TD5 hoses now come as a complete assy and cannot be bought seperate genuine, if thats the case i would go silicone, but if its not leaking why bother?
