Help needed with new Shock absorbers

Hi there i have an 1988 Santana 90
Its sat on old leaf springs, shock absorbers are gone. any ideas which absorbers will fit? Went in to a shop today and they say the defender in that year were already on coil springs so they can't tell me which absorber will fit. Old ones are brit parts, the numbers on the absorber don't match anything online.

It's a guess but I bet series 3.

As above. As far as I know 1988 was coil springs.

....my apologies, just looked it up and apparently the Santana IV was fitted with leaf springs. You learn something every day!
