Help needed regarding towing equipment!

Hello!

I bought an adjustable height drop plate and a pin and ball towbar.

However what extra support do I need for it below the cross member?

I have this pic from someone elses landy, do I need both supports I've circled or can I just get away with the one next to the crossmember?

Also where is the best place to get the support that is next to the cross member? (I can't find anywhere that sells them?)

Yes you need the extra bracing otherwise the drop plate will just twist and tear out of the rear crossmember when you try an tow anything heavy. Think about the loading and leverage on the top mounting if you drop the ball to its lowest point.
