Looking at a 235ish mile round trip according to the RAC so thats about half a tank in my disco, would be about £70 in fuel then £5 for a burger n chips

Well is better than £290 rac want
Might have to take you up on that if i cant find someone nearer very soon lol.
Failing that.. to get a disco to kip in if i go up and its a no no

RAC are overpriced well if you need it drop me a PM and we can try and sort something out. It'll be cheaper as long as the price of derv doesn't go up again I have to drive to Kendal now cos the local garages are all up at £1.51 pl

Changing the subject - have you tried Laphroig Triple Wood?

I like the more peaty Talisker as a rule, but the Triple Wood is pretty smooth and special

Drink far too much myself (mainly stella and decent wine (Berry Brothers well worth a look)), but prefer the day slightly rounded

Nope - there will be other members nearby but I only know the rough location of about 30

Currently working 7am - 8pm, a bit of weekends and the rest of my time is house restoration/horses so too far for me to offer to help out - sorry

Only other thought is an AA/RAC inspection without you present (costly and no experience of how well they know Landys) or asking some 'eliminating questions' of the seller

Suspect OSD may be about to kill me (Internet is weird - in real life you'd ask first), so the good Dr may be a good option - to be honest it's only 3% of the purchase price
