Help need advice ???

I had my wheels stolen off my 2012 defender today it had factory locking wheel nuts but they proved to be not much handy as I have looked it’s very easy to buy the defender locking nut so thieves can just remove the wheels I’m wondering how can I prevent this from happening again if any eg a good locking wheel nut ?? And also is there a good alarm systems for recommendation ?? Thanks in advance

You can buy more secure wheel nuts, the Land Rover ones are rubbish there are only six different keys.
My spare wheel went and it had the locking wheel nut fitted.
Land Rover now supply a better Defender locking wheel nut with an internal spline, harder to get off without the right key, and can't be removed with the easily available locking wheel nut removal tool.

They are not bad. Not many people have a 22mm hex key in their tool kit
