What tires do you use, AT or roads?
And would you fit a snorkel just for floods? I'm not purposely going to be driving into water holes as some do!

Black ones, erm i think there bfg t/a nothing special , and a snorkel on mine no point as i live in london , and also doesnt help bhp and mpg not that there that important , well i mean you need more than a snorkel to be going through anything deep aswell, as im sure u knlw

There you go then a Landy would be perfect.
I loved my Type R but don't miss the speed at all now. The enjoyment you'll get from a landy far outweighs that. There's just so much more you'll use on a daily basis. So much more car for your money!
Like someone said, once you've got the bug that's it.

A tyre such as BFG AT or General Grabber AT are excellent on and off-road tyres, with low noise, good grip and long durability - not cheap but good.
If you anticipate driving in water so deep that it is likely to come over the bonnet, you must have a snorkle. However, if you are talking about driving on flooded roads, is it likely that you will want to drive if the water is that deep? It's a matter of applying common sense really.

Just been speaking to a neighbour today who's had more than a few landy's and he said he had some general ATII's that he couldn't wear out! He swears by them. He's got BFG on his 110 now but only because he said he got a stupidly good deal. Otherwise he would have bought generals.
As far as a snorkel, I think I would get one for "just incase" but I'll try to avoid water that deep. Had to go through a flooded ford in my 200tdi once and I was happy I'd fitted one! Can't see too many places selling mantec snorkels though.

I have BFG AT,s on mine, and thats it !
Gets me on, off and around the farm no problems.
As for water, any more than a couple of feet and you,ll be taking out your carpets so you can dry them out !. ( that may bother you, that may not !! ).
The road to my place floods regularly, and I,ll tackle it up to two feet deep.

I like the thought of BFG AT tires but like the price tag of Generals! But I have no experience of either!
As the disco will be my daily driver I'd rather avoid drowning it if possible! Do all disco's let water in? Just curious as the vids I've seen of people in water at Billing is over their bonnet and nobody moaned about wet feet!

If you get your bow wave right you can go can a bit deeper.
The D2,s seals are very good, but will, if left in high water long enough, let water in.
I have had water over the bonnet, but very briefly.
I am on the cusp of fitting a snorkel, but not to keep out water, more all the dust from the rest of the track to my house.
