help! main fuse or what?

Fixed. It doesn't appear to have been related to the wrench touching the truck. The positive going to the main harness and some of the wiring in the split charge system was loose and needed to be redone. I also had read about other td5's having loose screws on the link/fuse box under the seat and one of mine was loose as well... So it's worth a check on your td5 to make sure the two main wires going into the harness under the driver's seat are properly seated and tight. The smaller diameter wire is positive to the glow plugs, the larger one if a direct line from the positive of the battery. If that larger one doesn't have a proper connection then basically everything on the truck won't work. Thanks for everyone's help!
