Help - looking to find a land rover FHL 481

Hi my family owned a series one landrover in the 1970`s and 80`s registration FHL 481.
I can see from the DVLA website that it has recently been registered to a new owner and I am trying to locate the vehicle as I would love to see it again. Can anyone help?

You used to be able to elicit that info. from the DVLA, but now of course we have 'data protection'
At least you know that the vehicle is still on the road, every time I look up any of my (many) previous vehicles I find that there's no records

I really don't know where you go to these days, but hopefully someone will be along with advice ... good luck with your quest.

Hi Norseman, thank you for taking the trouble to get back to me. I cant see anyway of getting the information so have reached out on a few forums in the hope that someone will know. I can see that it changed hands this year so hopefully the new owner will be on the forums looking for some advice.

Have you done an mot search on it?

Now if this is still on the landrover it may not show up but if the number plate has been transferred to a newer car this may show up

If you are a private parking company

the dvla will sell you the owner information for sending spurious speculative invoices/fines.

I can see there was a change of ownership this year but it isn’t on the road so no idea if it is running or in bits!

It comes up with "Please enter valid REG no." when entered into Euro Car Parts website so based on my experience with some of my fleet, it's not been registered since DVLA went digital.
Just out of interest, how do you know it's recently changed owners?
