Hi all,
For reasons too unthinkable to explain I’m locked out of my Freelander 2 and have no spare keys.
A local dealer has quoted nearly £1,400!
Do any of you marvellous people know anyone who can help me? I’m on the Dorset / Devon border.

Insured ?? break the window call insurance pay your excess, auto glass will be out toot sweet.
Other than that couple of tyre levers with rags wrapped around them force the door top open
& fish the keys out with a copper oxi acetylene welding rod.

Welcome to lz

2 suggestions:
1: if you are a member of AA, or similar, phone them and they can possibly help.
2: When asking for free help, from a group of unpaid, but happy to help, strangers. This might be of use 71PquRsxZTL.jpg

Don't you have key loss on the car insurance cover. AA or RAC can jemmy the door to feed a wire to open the pull latch. Did that with mine.
