Thismorning my left hand side indicator stuck on. Arm goes back to centre but they keep flashing.

If I turn right and put arm over both flash as same time.

Anyone heard of this or anyone know which fuse I can pull to get home tonight ?

Got the fuse box cover with me but do not see anything that referes to indicators.

Thanks

Hi 2JAYZ
I think the problem is probably the indicator relay sticking for the left hand side. If there is a relay for both side try swapping these if the other one is on then the relay is at fault. Other than that you need to be tracing the wiring from the lights back as a couple of wires rubbed through and some water can cause all sorts of wierd anr wonderful problems
Let me know how you get on Graham

Many thanks for your advice.

I actually got to the bottom of the problem, not sure if I have a permanent fix but touch wood.

I found a post on another Range Rover site and it made a mention of the small block the actual indicator arm goes into behind and next to steering wheel column.

That post confirmed that after opening up this block and cleaning between a nylon cover and small PCB it sorted their problem (Right indicator permanently on).

I did not have the tools to open this block up but I took cowling/s off around the steering wheel and noticed this 'block' has a connector at the back with the wires leading into it. When making sure the connector was right in there was a short stop to the light flashing. I then took the wires leading into connector and pushed them back a bit towords the back of the S.wheel and the problem stopped and has not come back.

You can probably tell I'm not too technical but will be glad to know I managed to solve the Kripton factor test of puting the cowling bits back together where I could have done with another 2 hands.

Thanks for taking the time to reply and hope this helps anyone if they have the same problem.

Another problem I have is the Alarm warning beeps a comes up on dash display when I put in key. It is very intermittent but have noticed however it is very much worse after I sorted this problem, so is this another wire problem but going into the ignition key unit that I made worse taking off and refitting the cowling?

Will I take it off to see if I can sort it? Nah !!
