HELP! In Cornwall and fuel heater leaking need to get home tomorrow

Hey I'm on holiday in Cornwall and the fuel heater has decided to leak water! I have put in a WYNNS cooling system stop leak but this morning it was worse
Seems to stop when warm but got a long journey back to Essex tomorrow and don't want to break down any ideas or anyone have a spare near Cornwall

What sort of landy are we talking here?

And whereabouts are you in Cornwall, it is quite a large place.

Barrs dog turd pellet is better than Wynns imo.

Liskeard is a fair way from here, and I don't know any parts places round there, some of the more local members may.

Is this the heater matrix/pipes that are leaking?

The only place I can see the fuel and cooling system coming close to eachother is at the fuel cooler (not heater) unit which is in the return line between the FPR and the fuel filter.

Sorry but I'm nowhere near so I'm of no use really.

Afraid I don't know much about Td5 at all, I didn't understand the original post at all.

And I am a bit closer, but it must be about 50 miles to Liskeard, and I don't get over that way very often.

Dtd5 will know that area as well, although he lives up north of there, and he has a TD5, may know stockists etc.

you could remove the 2 coolant pipes for the fuel cooler and join them together for the time been , quite a common leak

I'd wondered along those lines but don't know td5s or how crucial the fuel cooler is.

Would it likely cause any issues on a long journey?
