Help - half shaft seals

Trying to change the oil seal on the half shaft - the hub wont come off (behind the drum when taken off). Any ideas? there is a fair bit of movement but it wont come off. (reason for changing the seal is the common leak and spray over the wheel of oil). Quick help is appreciated

sounds like wheel bearings are loose or worn as well presumably youve removed the 2 nuts holding bearings on

Well, I have no reason to believe the wheel bearings are shot (no symptoms usually associated wit it. I will take a picture and post current progress - give me a min

does hub have any movement if it has wheel bearings are loose or worn ,hub wont come off till bearings undone

youve already removed nuts then ,weasnt sure from your post ,it will pull off or might need knocking with copper hammer wooden mallet etc

Enough of ya Friday night antics, get bk to working on ya hub! Lol

I had same prob- used a puller and put a block of hard wood in centre to pull against! It'll go in the end

I can't see from the pics if the other side is stripped down and on axle stands but you could try putting the wheel back on with two nuts and either belt the back of the tyre with a sledge or lay underneath and kick the fooker but be careful with the latter that you dont kick the landy off the axle stands

We're giving it a rest for today >.< - but we will buy a hub puller tomorrow to see if we have more luck with that.
