my name is malc i just joined the site today after reading lots of sound advice . now i need help im over in florida at the moment assisting a disabled person they have a land rover freelander petrol V6 2002 model donated to them adapted for their handicap however they now have a problem the engine is running off like as if a spark plug was not firing or like that . i know basic machanics from home in ireland on my defender but this one has me stumped guys firstly the engine is covered in a hunk of black plastic holding what seems like filters ?? i removed that and can only access 3 spark plugs and round shape coil packs the other 3 well seem to be hiddden away behind more plastic stuff at back of engine near bulkhead do i need to remove all this too to get at plugs and coil packs at most all i know is just to check plugs other than that im lost as to why the engine is running rough like this any help in detail would be of great assistance Guys
