I might have a look at one of those EAS kickers especially if I can't get this old laptop running, got an application error when tried to run the RWS program but another thread suggested updating windows service pack which I'm currently doing and seems to be taking for ever.
Fingers crossed I can get this working so can save a few bob as I already have the lead.
Did you say that you had some sort of power adapter to allow to use laptop in the 12v cig lighter socket? If so do you have any more info (make etc so I can try and find one on ebay)?
Cheers

Try Maplins
you can see one from Steve Hill's place
:D

So finally got the EAS unlock suite working and thought I'd test it on the car.

Ran it and it sync'd fine and then it gave me an error 7: vehicle has moved code.

Does anyone know what this means? Vehicle wasn't moving anywhere?

I think it was the 2nd reading of the 4 with the error.

Thx

Always says Vehicle has Moved...............simply that EAS has sel leveled at some point!

If that's the only error it's suggesting nothing else wrong.

Vehicle has moved means nothing as ridesafe said. I got my PSU off Ebay direct from Hong Kong, lots on there just need to select the right one for your computer.:D

Ordered a 12v to 220v 150w convertor from Amazon for £15 means I can plug other gadgets in to charge as well as laptop. Sweet. Feel much happier making journey to Manchester knowing I can clear any faults.
