Thanks,
Black o rings.
The original problem was that it changed height as and when it felt like it, so did pump and valve block, the diafram was split so problem solved so i thought, this strange behavier has only started since the block was serviced so i think somthings not right there, strange only the front drops

Random height changes are usually caused by three things:
  • Bad connections in Left Footwell (C204)
  • Bad connections in driver pack connectors (C152 & C139)
  • Bad connections to height sensors
The front dropping when parked will be leaks.

Front on stops this morning.
Run with door open, pump kept running on without any blowing off from exhaust.
Shut door, nothing still on stops with soft fault.
Drove 100yds and back front popped up, all now at wade height.
Stopped, switched off and heard a small blow off, dropped half inch, locked car and left it for 5 min.
Unlock and start with door open, nothing and no fault.
Closed door and popped up half inch and settled at normal height.
Pump now runs for 3min, stops with a little blow off and starts again within half a min.
If now left for 2-3 hour it will go into soft fault again until turned off left a min and back on then all normal again.
Im going to swear soon and get some coils, ( not realy )

Do the EAS Timer test suggested earlier to disable self levelling & check for leaks.

Pump should fill the tank in 12-15 minutes with front door open and switch off. If not you either have a tired pump, leaks or faulty pressure switch.

Will do timer test first, might be more than one problem here so will have to go through every test in sequance. The only thing working as should consistantly is the pump overheat switch and the pump itself. Will start tests tmoz. A bit reluctant to pull the VB apart as it seems to do its thing when no soft fault is showing

Tony you need to put diag on this so you know where you are, or you could be buggering about for ever. Any that show up fix before you continue. Do it in logical steps.

Will do first. Thinking of putting emergency kit on as that will confirm any leaks from bags and pipes to them. Will try at least 3 differant pressures as small leaks can hide in folds. Should show within an hour

Pulling delay timer should show leak on corner. If you go down the emergency inflation kit use it only to get home or for diagnosis. Get straight connectors not the T ones and don't get cheapo crap off the bay. You can get decent stuff from Activ-Air or similar for the same price and it will be top quality.

Thanks. Will pull timer when i get a min. Already got a set of straight ones and foot pump. Carry these all the time. I class them as standard kit. LOL
If it still goes down i will then pull pipe on that corner and manualy inflate it. This will prove bag or VB leak

Unless you have legs like Charles Atlas you will need a lot more than a foot pump.:D:D

Only got the SW kit, works well and ive set it up with some good heights for my needs

You i take it mean Storey Wilsons EASunlock. You have set up with some good heights for your needs, do i take it you have set none standard heights? That maybe your problem.

Hi pal, heights ar well inside spec, used mainly when caravan is on so shouldent be a problem. Standard and over 55 heights are nearly the same. Works well when not towing. Less roll with the big tyres

You should not need to alter heights for towing, the suspension should be locked at the height you tow at with the lock button. If you have roll you need to fit some new shocks.

Tow height is fine locked. The cruise height seemed a bit low so have brought it up a little

Look at the tech archive i have listed the heights in my EAS how to. Set standard heights. If you have a problem with a sensor sort it. Then go from that.
