help chassis number

hi I've a 92 k plate 3.9 classic and im trying to find the chassis number,book says right side in front of spring turret but is that drivers side or passenger side ,inside chassis rail or out side ?
or rear x member in front of rear axle i cant see it
is it stamped in or on a tin plate tacked on any help would be appreciated thanks daron

Drivers side,outside of chassis,also on the rear face of the outrigger in front of the rhr wheel. Not heavily stamped and may be slightly corroded now its out of warranty.

Turn the wheels to maximum right hand lock. Using a torch (and possibly with the help of a wire brush), go to the offside front wheel and examine the outside face of the chassis, forewards of the suspension. There (somewhere) you will find the stamped in chassis (vin) number. You will most likely have to scrub a little as it will be buried under years of crud - persist, it is there. Water may help.
