Just thought i would say hello. I am from the north east and just bought my first disco 2.5 TDI ES. I went to scotland for it and then the problems started.... lol. Got half way back and lost all the water so the AA got me back home with it. Pulled the head off today to find a cheap head gasket so changed it for the steel gasket and its now running mint but now having problems with bleeding it. I have been looking over the net and tried a few things but i still cant get the car heaters to stay hot. At the min i am happy with it but need to get the air out of it.

WELCOME mate someone one here will have the answer to your prob ,try takin yhe heater pipe n start her up rev the engine a bit till the water comes out the pipe then put it back on the heater that usually does the trick its an old motor trade trick Where u at then im in monkeyhangerland up your way dave
