Hi all.
Glad to have registered after lurking for a couple months. I bought my first Landy a couple months back, a Bonatti Grey Defender DCPU Td5, and have kept myself well entertained doing what seems to be fairly usual stuff.
So far, full service, EGR/CAT delete, injector loom replaced, mid/body cross member replaced, swapped rear springs for softer (much improvement), fitted rock/tree sliders. Still much to do, and with limited time this will drag on..
On the horizon I got a headlining to recover, a load of sound deadening to fit, a really annoying rear window rattle to sort, and I think a roof to be sprayed, along with a general tidy up.
First things first I need to get to the bottom of a reluctance to rev, current max speed is about 60 (even with what is labelled as a 1.2 transfer box) where a 'misfire' starts. Boost gauge ordered, and once set I'll get onto fuel pressure gauge.
This forum has already been a massive help, looking forward to getting you know you all.
I'm in West Midlands / South Staffs nr.J12/M6.
Cheers, Ade
