I’m Chris, a new member,
Just thought I’d introduce myself.

I’m new to land rovers and recently bought a discovery 1, more for a hobby than a daily use. I’m not into converting into the big heavy 4x4 off roaders you see a lot of, I’d prefer to get it back into good condition and maybe in time a little gentle green laning etc.

I’m a welder (plant repairs etc) by trade and have a modest amount of mechanical experience (basic electrical )

Anyway enough rambling..

My discovery has several issues to deal with so no doubt I’ll be posting soon!

Disco owners normally learn ter weld after buying a disco. Tis lucky yer can already weld.

Different colour panels but gleaming, my kinda man. Armed with a welder you will do fine.

Just watch out for those oil soaked areas that you'll be welding.
