Hi everybody, this is my first post but have been reading the forums as a guest for a while to fulfill my disco need's. I have finally bit the bullet and brought myself and her indoors a 99 'V' Disco TD5 with 150k on clock but having had an engine rebuild, head gasket's etc and a new turbo, 2k miles ago. I look forward to the maintenence side of the ownership and will post as and when things are done. My first thing on the list is to replace all oil and filters and will do this at the end of the month. Thats along with the aesthetic modifications such as new mats etc which I will keep updated too. Also need to source a new 2 button key as only came with one so will be searching around for info in here. Anywho that's me, in the sunny land of Birmingham with my new td5 as of tomorrow evening. Wish me luck!!!! :):):)

:welcome2: to looney zone peeps, enjoy your stay here and have many happy hours swearing at, sorry ment many happy hours maintaining your landy :D

Good luck and have fun. The Disco will kind of grow on you. Just one word of advice. If you dont have a full service history on the car then get a whole service done as soon as you can, not just the filters. If there is one thing I've learned about Disco's in my short ownership (and mine is similar to yours) its that they need regular servicing. That means greasing the prop shafts, uj's etc etc too. :)

:welcome2: two months ago when i bought my td5 i knew nothing about them. now i`ve learnt loads via this forum. spent quite a few hours serviceing and fiddleing and i love it. enjoy the ride:)
