I ahve 1993 defender 110 county station wagon.Its due a timing belt now at 205k miles. How dangerous is it to drive whilst its due. My other car will be off the road for another two weeks.

How long have you known that it needs changing?
Unless you do huge mileage then you ought to be ok...if you hear a loud bang and your pants change colour you'll know its time to look under the bonnet.

Heool there.She'e due a timing belt since approx500-1000 mile ago. Normally dont do many miles approx 6k last year.
