Hello to all the landy peeps

I have bin looking around the site for a long time and got to say its a peach.

I have just got a landrover discovery 1995 3 door red 300tdi with no ticket or tax on it.

The mechanic I brought it from said it had a bit of rust in it so sold it on cheap to me .

Is there any places that rust that I should look into ?

oh dear you might get a huge shock when you start digging round just check everywhere ie inner wings inner outer cills boot floor and rear chassis mounts thats a start for you

oh dear .............. first question is can you weld ??? if not you may be faceing a huge garage bill ............. look under and behind the rear bumper all will reveal its self ................ the cills i guess may well have plastic covers on them there between the front wheels and rear bottom of body , bottom of doors

and i also hope your fabricateing skills are of good standard any welding done will defently be be checked by mot tester

mot is not a problem as stepdad is a tester
