Hi
i am thinking of buying a freelander and wondered if there are any pitfalls i need to be aware of
the freelander i am looking at is an 18s on an 04 plate which has had the head gasket replaced
it has 63,000 on the clock.
what other items do i need to watch out for?

And so it begins

Don't post again mate until you've done a good search on here, trust me you don't need to hear some of the "advice" you get on here.

yeh just reading the various threads same posters saying the same thing

you live and learn

but hey that won't stop me cocking up thats part of the rich tapestry of life (right nurse i will go to bed now)

thats what i am finding out nice to be part of a community of nutters who have more money than sense

will be nice to do some of the work myself again

they are not all lemons are they?

they go over terrains WOW

Yes they are! After you have replaced the headgasket in a few months time, you will probably find that the IRD and/or VCU is fooked, so will need replacing, providing of course that the rear sub frame hasn't given up the ghost. After fixing those probs, and then the almost inevitable electrical issues. It will be time to replace the HG again.:D

Why bother asking for advice, when after receiving said advice you have absolutely no intention of paying the slightest bit of attention to it:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:.
Why not just say 'Hello I'm going to buy a Gaylander, and I couldn't give a toss what you lot think':):):)
Is it really any wonder some people are a bit short (No pun intended Pikey:eek::eek::eek:;););)) with noobs:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:.

Rant over:D:D:D:D:D:D:p:p:p:p:p:p;);););););):rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
