Hi all.
Finally plucked up the courage to buy my first Defender, after everyone warned me off. Thought it was something I needed to get out of my system!
Last week picked up an 03 plate pickup and it seems mostly fine, but a few issues I will ask for help with later.
But loving the driving height, it's excellent for the back roads to work, although the fuel consumption and interior are slightly lower than the Audi TDi Avant I have it given up for it.

That's true, the wind whistling through the cab tends to dissipate your personal emissions quite effectively.
