Hi Guys, just got my first land rover, to go with the caravan the missus had to have!
I got a 2000 X-reg Disco 2 V8i ES in dark met blue and grey leather interior, paid the princely sum of £1k for it.
Its done 107,500 miles, not in bad shape but the rear suspension had failed and was sitting on the stops. I owe it to your definitive guide on here as to why I bought it, but can safely say it wasnt the air springs
turns out, the pump and motor were full of water (anyone any ideas why) but what had caused the failure was one of the brush springs in the motor had rotted away...........out with the RC car stuff, and hey presto, fixed for a sum total of 2 hours work and 37.5p!!!
I am however going to get another 2nd hand pump as a back up.
