Hi everyone. I've been using the forums passively for a while now, so it's about time I joined up.
I've got a 1999 Defender 110 300Tdi van, I've had it about four years I think.
Well, I've a few projects for the new year...
1) Fitting side windows in the rear sides, mainly the NS where visibilty is worst. I've got the windows from an old military Landy, just waiting on getting some decent limo-black film rather than the ridiculously rubbish stuff from Ebay that I've just wasted my time and money on.
2) Install a centre console from Mud Products, move the stereo, CB and all the random switches into it.
3) I've just bought a Maggiolina Columbus Rooftent, now what I'm thinking is install a split charge system, the second battery apart from running the winch, can power an inverter, which can power an electric blanket ! Well, it's just an idea.
4) Install soundproofing and headlining, subject to cost.
5) Rustproof the underside and chassis (when it's warmer)
I'll be asking questions along the way, and hopefully give some advice where I can.
Cheers
Chris
