Hello everyone, new to this forum. I bought a 300tdi disco back in June, drove until it ran out of mot and now plan on welding it back together for myself and the kids to use for camping/cycling trips and a bit of a play in the mud. It's quickly become part of the family and has the bruises and spilt pop to prove it! I have researched all of the issues regarding rust, as well as most of the issues regarding rust - and even some of the problems about rust! My disco has already proved itself as a reliable workhorse, and I like the laid-back, lazy driving style it encourages. So the kettle is on, the steel is bought and the welder is being coaxed out of the garage, wish me luck!
