Well Hello!
A Newbie here, I'm no stranger to the green oval having worked for a LR dealer and until recently running the LR Roadside Assistance Technicians. Having handed back my X-type (hoorraahhh!) I needed a new motor, so what to buy?
Well first of all I thought I might buy a Freelander, fortunatly my wife awoke me from this nightmare and normal service resumed.
So after a few weeks of scouring autotrader and fleabay I found my new Toy, a 1990 110 hardtop, it's had windows and a couple of seats in the back fitted, plus steering/diff guards, snorkel, A bar etc i shall get a few pics in the gallary soon, most importantly Chassis Bulkhead etc all sound.
Engine is a 2.5 petrol, not my first choice but the rest of the car makes up for it, whats more is I do have a donor 200tdi Discovery available to me so it might have Power steering and a deisel lump soon.
Anyway, hope to be on here often looks like a good forum and look forward to meeting up with some local memebers soon, talking of which does anyone go to the Minstead pay and play? is it any good?
