Hello Folks

Hi there all... Just thought i would introduce myself as i have been bitten by the all things landy bug! lol
My Dad had an air portable one when i was younger so it goes without saying he is delighted that i have grown out of sporty Japanese crap and decided to go for a real vehicle!
Dont have my own yet but will be looking to buy one at the beggining of July as if im going to do it, im going to do it properly after having to pay £220 for 6 months road tax on the Jap Trap it's time to wave the middle finger to a bunch of gerriatrics down south somewhere
Looking forward to some good off roading and some good laughs!

Buying/getting a LR is a decision that will make/break most people ... BEWARE ... they are addictive and keeping them roadworthy will probably make a big dent in your funds ... but it is totally worth it

Dewin: You obviously wasnt reading prop! My last car was an Evo 5 and was a recent import so for 6 months tax alone it was £220!! Add quite a bit of fuel clutch tyres and wheels (Lets not even get started on the insurance!! :doh: ) lol...
Im reckoning it should balance just nicely with a 109 tax exempt and a bit of the ol classic insurance tie it all up with a father thats a mechanic and a brother thats an aviation engineer (trainee) and welder and im hopeing for the dream (least money i have ever had to spend on a car in a year! lol)

Main other thing being i have been to a few pay and play days and reckon im goin to stick mostly to green lanes for now!

The change in speed will be a bit dramatic ... oh and unless you keep the LR standard it will be the inevitable mods that'll empty your wallet

The speed difference is much needed (quickest way to lose your licence buy an Evo! lol) And yes naturally it's going to need a lift for a start!? Maybe!? lol
