Hello to everyone on the Freelander forum!

I've just joined the forum but I'm not exactly a newbie when it comes to Land Rovers! I'm now on my 10th but only on my second Freelander!

My first Freelander had all the usual problems of broken VCU, IRD etc. It eventually blew the head off and wrecked the engine! Quite impressive but I managed to change the engine on my drive-way and it started second turn of the key! The car was eventually sold and I bought...a Volvo! This has made way to a 2005 facelift Freelander 1.8! I hope that I won't have to ask for help too many times but...

Hi mate, welcome to the forum . I'm pretty new here too, but I've already found it unbelievably helpful. I'm sure with all your experience you'll have some really valuable info to contribute .

As with WLJ, I'm a new FL owner, TD4, and have dealt with, or am in the process of dealing with, some of the more common issues. And to agree again, the help on here has been invaluable. Long may it continue...................
