Thanks for letting me join the forum.

I have a series 2A (which is a long term project) and I’ve recently bought a diesel 2002 P38, primarily as I need a vehicle capable of towing my ifor williams.

I’ve just used the dimensions kindly provided by canyon to access my in tank pump from above, I’ve joined primarily to thank canyon for that.

the auto box cooler fan runs constantly at the moment, and as I don’t want to spend £70 on the genuine switch, I’ve bought a top hose switch which I am hoping to make do the job.

normally we advise to drop the fuel tank and check the rear brake lines as they rust badly and its easier to change them with the tank out the way and also the tank filler connector is normally looking a bit dodgey.

canyon is still about from time to time. If your doing a lot of towing make sure your EAS is up to holding pressure.

Thanks! I will bear the filler neck in mind, is there any way of checking the condition with the tank in place? The rear brake lines were renewed not long before I bought the car thankfully

You can see the filler neck connection from under the car buy the drivers rear wheel in between the tank and chassis rail
if the brake pipes have already been done then happy days
