hello all p38 3.0 conversion

:doh:hello to all ........well as we speak a shiny 13000 mile x5 engine is being fitted to my p38 dse !!! it will be running close to 300 bhp and 500 nmt.
just what the old girl needs performance and economy ....... comment welcome nick

well thanks for the welcome all .
i will try to put some pics on here as soon i figure out how to,
the sump should be back tues day its had to be modified to clear the front diff. the new engine mounts are nearly ready. after that the fun begins ie geting the ecu from the engine to talk to the ecu in the gearbox. if all else fails ashcroft transmisions make a stand alone ecu for about £800.
if any one needs a 2.5 engine i have one 103000 miles full history

So i have a 3.0 x5 engine all mechanics is ok but with electronics ???????
