Heavy duty clutch bearing:

While looking at clutch kits on paddocks, I came across this "heavy duty" clutch bearing.

FTC5200HD | Clutch release bearing - Heavy Duty

Apparently it has an aluminium case instead of plastic as the regular ones do.

Has anyone fitted one? Is it worth the extra cost?

Thanks for any advice.

Have not had one,but when my plastic one over heated and melted [working it hard trying to get unstuck from a muddy pool] one might have helped.

plastic ones only fail once bearing has so no real big point in fitting one , its the bearing that should be of better quality not carrier
