No its allright, the blower works and there is(a little bit) heat etc coming from it, but....

I would like to get into the "ducting" that outputs to the two flexi hoses that go to the screen so as to reseal it all up as one of the places we want to overland to is very cold. The blower (as is the norm) is more blowy at the passenger side than mine and heat/air is being lost through holes etc. I have no idea where to start....

cheers steve.

Have you tried back flushing the heater matrix first, there can be quite a lot of crud in there! Saying that I did mine at the weekend and it was as clean as the water going in!
But now it's not as warm, so I don't know if I've moved the crud and made it worse!
The heating ducts in my old ninety behind the dash just aren't long enough really, I was going to try incorporating some waste pipe to bridge the gap a little better, but as the air is coming through the vents quite well at the moment, I thought I would leave well alone!
The heater box is a sod of a job to remove apparently , there are threads on it so have a dig!

There is more heat and air coming out of the passenger side as its directly above the heater  by the time the air has travelled along under the dash to the drivers side you can imagine quite a bit has escaped through various holes and the heat will have dissipated a little. Im assuming you know how it works i.e the bottom part of the dash is just a big space that the air is blown into then its expected to blow through the window vents. I considered putting in ducting to ensure the air flow goes only to the window and the bottom vents but couldnt be arsed with the work.

I know how it works, just not sure if i have to take the lower dash off.
We are going to put in an auxilary blower(via feed and return from radiator) and i may as well fix the original heating
