2 Problems:

1. My Heaters are crap in my 300tdi when engines at runing temp there luke warm and that's it.

Sounds like you need to renew the thermostat - good news is they are about £4 and take 5 mins tops to do.

2. Also the car has a 2inch Lift on it put its leaning to on the drivers side. Now to give you a idea i can get my i phone from the top of the wheel (tyre) to the bottom of the wing with a perfect fit on passenger side. if i fit my phone in driver side its about 1cm down. A 1/2inch difference between the two side is perfectly normal. Rear body mounts "coming away"!!!!!! That needs looking at immediately :eek:

can you help:D

Ahhhh cheers

well the thing is it never leaned till i went off roading :( yea rear body mounts have come away from the body behind rear bumper. could this cause it ? sorry its not 1/2 inch i mean 1cm but you can see it when sat in it leaning to one side ?

I'm a bit confused. You say the drivers side is lower than the passenger side, yes? You say it is lower by 1cm, yes? 1cm is 10mm which is slightly under 1/2 and inch - so that would be quite common.

Part of the reason I believe is that std LR springs are 'handed' so the one on the drivers side is slightly 'stronger' to compensate for the drivers side always being loaded. Aftermarket springs are not normally handed,so once they settle, the car dips slightly on the drivers side.

Re the rear body mounts, can you post a picture?

yea drivers side has droped about 1cm ? but my arguement is it was totally level a week ago and i noticed it because the steering wheel was stright before but now its leaning to the drivers side the steering wheel also turned a inch to the right from being center but drives stright ?

i will try and upload a photo

here is a picture not very good will get better one today but you can tell its sagging on the drivers side .. look at the wheel its leaning in to the arch compared the the passenger one

I would be checking the driver side wheel and swivel bearings. Even taking into account pictures distortions, that drivers side wheel doesn't look right.

Morning Guys

Good News i have sorted my heaters... it was the thermostat some clown had taken it out and not put one back in what i find a bit odd. Ran it up to Temp and went and drove it seems good (also temp gauge now works also) .

in tearms of the lean would the swivel bearing mate it lean ? what would be the best way to check it .?

Some people take out the thermostat because of an over-heat situation, so keep a very regular eye on the temp gauge and the colant level in the header tank.

To check the wheel and swivel bearings you first need to jack the wheel up until it is clear of the ground.

Wheel bearing check: take hold of the wheel at 3 and 9 'o clock and rock it to check for play.

Swivel bearing check: take hold of the wheel at 6 and 12 'o clock and rock it to check for play.
