Heater problem 94 disco

My heater refuses to work on any setting, but drive along and suddenly it works, any ideas guys

does your temp needle stay in the middle or go near red? only asking coz had a similar problem with mine, (95 tdi) turned out to be blocked pipes from coolant expansion tank. have you flushed your cooling system?....hope this helps

As jonb76 says ... could also be airlocked somewhere in the system, so again, flush through thoroughly ..

Do you mean the blower fan doesn't work on any setting or that the fan is ok but no heat?

loose connection if it's the fan that's not working. bugger to sort as it's virtually a dash out job to sort it.

Depends whether it's a 200 or a 300.
300 is easy, 200 easier just to do without heat.

200tdi with aircon oh the joy.. :doh:

It's 200 tdi the blower doesen't work until I drive along and either corner or go over bump

no sounds normal

it could be the connections behind the switch,when you slide it along for fan speed it is not touching the copper terminal ,just wear and tear,but it can be fixed.
