Heater plug wiring

So someone had the bright idea of fitting an old alarm to my land rover, when i bought this he had already tried to take it out and now the heater plugs wont get power,

I have power to everything else apart from the heater plugs, and when i try to wire them in from another source they dont register on the my multimeter

any help guys ?

do i have to wire it though the resistor?

No ballast resistor on the 2.5td, You may want to take the glow plugs out and see if they are working.

My old 2.5 Nad had a BR?
Would have thought a TD would as well.
