Heater fan - RRC 3.9

Hi all,
You know when we were all kids and we clipped a bit of card onto our bike forks so that it made a really cool sound?

Well, that's the noise that my fan heater has started to make, only it doesn't seem quite to cool now!

I guess that something has moved / is interferring somehow - but the question is how do I get there to have a furgal about and a look see?

Any ideas appreciated - and he missus has already helpfully suggested I wear my ear defenders - so don't go there!

My '87 makes a similar noise but only at the lowest speed, despite the car only having done a (documented) 43k. whereas my last RRC had done 150k. with a near silent fan! Simple choice between turning up the stereo & pulling half the dash out I should think. Others can no doubt advise you about what's involved in the latter course of action, may help you decide!

Only half the dash norseman ? If its a 3.9 the chances are its got air/con think it needs all the dash out to get heater box out!
