heater blower

hi everyone, ive got a 2003 rr hse (l322) with heater blower problems. heater works fine, but blower only works now and then. lights come on when i turn the switch but no blower. same happens when i press (prog) button for max demist, anyone got an idea where to start or what to try first?

Hi, I was just about to post the same question!!!! I have a 1996 2.5 DSE and have exactly the same problem. I thought it was the blower so replaced it yesterday and it is doing exactly the same thing. It will run for a few seconds then stops then will start again when it wants to.

Any answers would be greatly received, its diving me CRAZY!!!!!!!

Dont know i it will help you but I took out the relays that are under the bonnet and cleaned up the contacts. The 2 on mine had silver contacts which are as they come so i took off the paint and went down to the copper. I then tried my blower again and it has been working fine ever since.

Coincidence???? I dont know but give it a try and see how it works!!
