Heater blower resistor pack.

Anybody know where I can get one from for a 300tdi? I've looked of flea bay, there's Rover resistor repair packs but not one specifically for landrover.
I've also looked on paddocks website but can find anything.
A repair kit would do, I don't mind doing a bit of soldering.
Can anybody help

you talking about the position switch for the fan??

I just picked a whole console up for my 300 wiv a heater control for £15

No the resistor pack that controls the 1,2 and 3 speed of the fan. The fan only works on number four (the direct fed one).

Ah... well if you find one let me know, I bought the console for the switch as my fan only works on pos4 as well...

Does replacing the console fix the fan speed prob? i.e it contains the resitor pack? I have't had it to bits yet. I've just been told about the fault and how to fix it.

I havent changed it yet... The whole center section of the dash needs to come apart to replace the controls, as they are fixed from thie inside of the dash. when i get chance to do it i will let you know if solved it...

I could try an electricians meter on the contacts later to test your theory, will post the results...

right, i put a meter across the contacts and there is no resistance in any position...

so the switch is just a switch!!!!

Land rover main dealers have them.

Mine only works on 1 and 4, and 4 only if it's in exactly the right spot. Bloody Land Rovers! I love 'em though.
