P38A Heater blower aint blowing.

Hi again.
My 1997 2.5dse blowers have chucked it.all was fine except they didnt create a great deal of air.then gradually became intermittent.theres still heat at the windscreen but as im in scotland its not ideal. (Freezing).
Any ideas?

Blend motors need replacing, very common.

Says the blowers ain't working so main suspect are the fuse box relays or burnt fuse box where they plug in, pull the relays check for burning replace with standard relay maplins sell them a fiver each.
If can can smell burning in the fuse box but can't see any then it could have burnt out inside strip it down and repair.

Blower motors are controlled for speed by control transistors mounted on them. You would have to remove the motor to sort that if that is the cause.
