HI I am new to Landyzone and bought a Discovery II Facelift a few months ago and love it. I do have a couple of small issues that I could do with some help on. One of the rear heated windscreen elements does not work. (the one accross the middle typically) and some of the elements in the front heated windscreen don't work. Is there an easy way to repair either of these issues or should I just live with it?

Thanks

You may be able to repair the rear but as far as i'm aware the only way to 'repair' the front is to replace the screen...

Someone may know otherwise though!

Quote right. the front screen has intrinsic heating elements (Loads of little wires within the glass) So once they feel ill, it is terminal. rear windows on the other hand have thicker elements, exposed on the inside of the glass. These are quit fragile and subject to damage. If you have a continuity tester or similar then run one proble along the line on the window that doesn't work and pu the other probe at the opposite end of the same line. When the reading either starts, or ends you will be at the point of the break. When you've found all the breaks, (there maybe more than one in any individual line) then get a repair kit. (not sure if Halfrauds still do them?) It is literally a conductive paint that you join the broken element up with.

Easy really :)

Thanks for the quick response. I'll live with the front one and try and find a repair kit for the rear.
