Hello again,

I recently fitted the front and rear heated seat panels to my discovery 3 for preparation of a heated seat conversion the fronts light up but the rear doesn't , I've checked the fuses for both and swapped them over still no results.

Wiring does exist for the rear as I found the seat wiring stuffed in the wheel arch

Probably a case of telling the vehicle it has heated rear seats, assuming there isn't another module/control unit to fit.

Heated rear seats on L319 do not need coding, the switches connect directly to the control modules that mount under the rear seat bases. Check you have ignition-switched power on the l.green/white wire.
The switches will not illuminate (except for background illumination) if the module is not connected, nor if there is a fault with one of the seat heating pads.

I haven't yet fitted the physical heated seats yet for the rear , the switch panel has been fitted and I dug out the wiring for the seats ,( the background illumination does come on for the buttons).

So In theory all I should have to do is fit the physical heated seats as there is no module connected?
