One of the electrical connector s on the rear window had snapped off due to corrosion. after ringing autoglass stealers and others i was told i needed a new glass. i thought ive got nothing to lose now, so i got a 100watt soldering iron, heated the brass tab that was left untill it came off. i then soldered a piece of wire to the solder that was left on the glass and connected to the other wire. it works now costing nothing so it proves if you,ve got nothing to lose (as if it didnt work i,d have to get another window) have a go
