Headlights not working since changing blend motors

When I changed the blend motors I had the panel with the headlight knob off, didn't realise til after but I pulled the back of the knob assembly off and it was still attached to the lead.

Anyway, put it back and now my headlights won't work when I turn the knob, doesn't even come up with the icon on the dash.

Is there anything missing (other than the spring/bearing on the other side) in this pic:



Took it all apart to see how it works and cannot really fathom how turning the knob one click turns the lights on...

p.s. if anyone is selling a known working knob, let me know, i'll buy it to test if I just buggered it somehow.

Should be a wiper blade that moves across the contacts as you turn the knob.

bugger, that's lost behind the dash somewhere then need a new one then.

As a last resort, if you cannot get one, I have one in my spares dog. Not sure how to get it out and very busy at the mo.

Cheers bud, will try some breakers first. It's easy enough to get to, just requires taking a whole bunch of panels off is all.
